There’s something really joyful about finding little corners of your house to decorate with a small painting or pattern. And it’s really not hard, we promise! Here’s how to paint some birds in a little corner of your house…
How to
Use the bird template (pdf below( to draw your design onto a piece of tracing or baking paper.
Take your pencil and rub it all over the back of your drawing.
Now trace the front side onto the wall with a sharp pencil to transfer your design. Follow our instructions on page 33 to go ahead and get painting!
Remember, when using acrylic paint you can wipe off and correct your design until the paint dries, but once it does, it’s permanent which means you can wipe over like a painted wall. Once the paint is dry, use an eraser to clean up any pencil marks.
